Japanese fans finally get Kindle store and readers

Amazon has announced that it will be launching a Kindle Store in Japan as well as the Kindle Paperwhite digital reader. This will be the first Japanese-language Kindle reader. The standard Paperwhite reader will sell for ¥8480.

Version of the reader including integrated 3G will sell for ¥12,980. The Japanese language Kindle Store will have over 50,000 books and over 15,000 Magna titles. The reader will ship on November 19 in Japan.
