Telefonica shows off Thinking Things concept for the Internet of things
Telefonica is showing off a concept device called the Thinking Things that is a modular system allowing users to build up plastic bricks allowing users to control or track all sorts devices. The Thinking Things consists of three elements including physical modules that have the court communications and logic.
The other elements include energy the battery or AC power along with sensors and actuators. Each device such as a lamp or other item that's connected to the Thinking Things gets its own webpage where the user can login to control or monitor the device. The concept can also be used for tracking inventory and all sorts of other needs.
