I bet a lot of people out there think they're pretty hard on their gadgets. I know I tend to scratch mine up, drop them, and generally I just don't treat them particularly well. I'm nothing like the guys over at iFixit though, they literally tear every gadget they get apart. The latest gadget to get ripped to shreds at the hands of the maniacal gadget hounds is the new iPad mini.
That iPad mini probably isn't in the hands of most people who ordered, but if you folks did get one early. The tear down shows that Apple really doesn't want you getting into this gadget any more than it did the iPads of the past. The tear down isn't quite complete, and the steps are being added as they're finished.
