CES 2003 Innovations Award Winner
PDT, a UK based consumer electronics development and manufacturing company, GlobalTuner InTune-200 (MSRP: $199) was awarded a “Best of Innovations CES Award” in the category of Online/Internet. The InTune 200 portable internet receiver has a range of 300 ft. A “sound pod” is plugged into a free PC USB port that transmits content (internet radio stations, MP3, CD, terrestrial radio, email and text to speech for caller ID display) to the battery powered (8 x C size 1.5 volt alkaline battery) wireless appliance.
