SnapStream software (MSRP: $49, free trial) allows the PC with a TV tuner card to be used as a digital video recorder (TiVo or Replay). Users record their favorite television shows on the PC and then watch them anytime, anywhere, on any device. Shows can be streamed over the Internet, home network, or viewed on Pocket PC handheld devices.
SnapStream puts the PC and TV at the center of the digital home -- turning the PC into a TV recording device and a media server. The software uses the free interactive TitanTV TV listings that can automatically record shows. A monthly fee based program listings is scheduled to be released soon that will have more advanced functions.
