Google Maps Comeback to iPhone is Imminent

Google got kicked off the iPhone by Apple with the release of iOS 6. Apple has now its own Map apps. Apple's Maps app is not mature yet as consumers found many map errors. iPhone users want the Google Maps app back and Google is busy making that a reality soon.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Google is already distributing test version of the new Google Maps app to outside testers. This would imply that a release could still happen this year. It would be nice christmas gift from Google for iPhone users.

TNW reports that the new iOS Google Maps app will have turn-by-turn navigation.
