Walmart.com had Best Day In History on Cyber Monday 2012

Walmart announced that its online shop had the biggest sales day ever on Cyber Monday 2012.

Walmart really knows now how to do online shopping. On Thanksgiving Day 2012 (the new online Black Friday) the retailer had almost as many shoppers as Amazon and now Walmart announced that Walmart.com had the biggest day in history.

Mobile shopping also did well for Walmart. Cyber Monday saw a 280% increase in online traffic coming from Walmart’s Mobile Apps, and a 242% increase in traffic from our apps over Thanksgiving Weekend. And, Pay with Cash usage more than doubled over Thanksgiving Weekend.

The best-selling items during the Walmart Cyber Monday 2012 sale included:

Double Power T-711 with WiFi Touchscreen Tablet PC

Garmin nuvi 50 5” Portable GPS

Element 32” Class LCD 1080p HDTV

XBOX 360 4GB Console with Skylanders Starter Kit and Exclusive Gill Grunt Character

20” Huffy Sea Star Girls Bike (Pink) and Boys Bike (Black)

Walmart is now offering the Walmart Cyber Week Sales with new deals every day.

Cyber Monday 2012 is history and Cyber Week sales event take over. The Cyber Week sales are already a tradition. Most retailers will offer extended Cyber Monday or Cyber Week sales all week long. After Cyber Week, Holiday Gift Sales start and will continue to offer deals for the Holiday season.
