HTC Windows Phone 8S Isn't Coming to the US

A while back HTC unveiled its flagship Windows Phone 8 smart phone called the Windows Phone 8X. at device might appeal to people who are interested in Windows Phone devices, but it wasn't the cheapest phone you get your hands on. HTC has a lower in the alternative called the Windows Phone 8S.

Sadly, it's been revealed that the 8S won't be coming to the United States. HTC has chosen to focus all of its Windows Phone 8 efforts in the US on the 8X flagship device. There is still hope that the 8S might show up as an unlocked device online.

The smartphone has a four-inch Gorilla Glass LCD, a five-megapixel camera, and a microSD card slot. This sounds like a mid range smart phone that might prove reasonably popular in Europe.
