We reported about Vocera's Startrek style communicator in April.
Now Vocera secured $11.3 Mio. in series D funding, not bad for this dry investment market especially for a hardware device (speak gadget) company.
They also told venturewire that the U.S. Senate purchased an initial 75 devices. No details on how they going to use it.
