The new Napster 2.0 is launching October 29th. Like Apples iTunes it also features its own Hard Drive based MP3 Player.
Samsung is providing the Samsung Napster YP-910 Player, which sports a 20GB hard disk drive. It measures 108 millimeters by 70 millimeters by 20 millimeters, which is bigger than the iPod.
Software manufacturer Roxio paid $5 million to buy the Napster name in bankruptcy court, and an additional $40 million for the struggling Pressplay fee-based music subscription service last year. Pressplay shuts down Tuesday. More on USAToday.
