We reported about the New Sony DCR-IP1K early September.
UPDATE 10/29/04:
The New JVC Everio Small Video Camera with 4GB HDD
ChannelNewAsia.com has a story saying the Sony DCR-IP1K Digital Video Camera is the World's Smallest and Lightest. The new Sony Gadget is on Sale this weekend in Japan for 160,000yen ($1,456).
We reported about the new Sanyo DMX-C1 as the World's Smallest Digital Video
Camera. Lets do some comparision:
Sony DCR-IPK:
Measurements: 69x91x39mm - Vol: 244.9cm3
Weight: 230g
Sanyo DMX-C1:
Measurements: 69x108x34mm - Vol: 253.4cm3
Weight: 155g
Based on this the Sony would be the smallest Digital Video Camera. The Sanyo is not shaped as a box, so the calculation is not comparable. My guess is that the Sanyo is actually smaller. Indicator for that is also that the Sanyo is way lighter than the Sony. What do you think ? post your comments.
