Suunto readies their Microsoft SPOT Watch. Suunto announced its Microsoft
SPOT Partnership in January this year.
We reported about the Fossil Wrist
Net MSNDirect Watch that also gets ready just in time for this Christmas
Season.
The Suunto n-series use radio frequencies to offer consumers customizable,
real-time information. Suunto launched a very cool Flash
site for its Suunto n3 SPOT watch. Similar to the Fossil MSNDirect Watch the
Suunto n3 will provide a wide variety of information on demand – including
mobile Internet, e-mail, channels for news, weather, sports and stock quotes,
and a calendar.
Suunto does not give an exact date and price yet for its SPOT watch, but it will
be available for this Christmas season. We know that the Fossil MSNDirect is
going on sale on November 17th for $199.00.
Update 10/27/03:
Suunto n3 will sell for $299.99. It actually will ship 01/2004 and not this Christmas season. See Suunto Shop for details.
Microsoft features a couple of promotional
SPOT Watch featuring Videos on its Smart
Personal Objects Technology Site.
