Microsoft Matrix Spoof Video at Comdex 2003 KeyNote

Microsoft apparently showed a Matrix Video clip at Bill Gates Comdex 2003 keynote featuring Bill Gates as Neo and Steve Ballmer as Morpheus.

In the Video they show the blue and red pill scene. 'Take the Big Blue pill and this story ends,' Gates says to Ballmer, referring to a pivotal scene in the movie and also to IBM's nickname, 'And armies of consultants are running around the IT world. Take the red pill (representing Microsoft) and you stay in Wonderland.' (story on yahoo).
Gates plays Neo and Ballmer Morpheus. Maybe they did not see the first Matrix Movie, but originally Morpheus is offering the Pills not Neo...
Anyway still a funny idea.

Bill Gates introduced several features of the upcoming longhorn operating system during his Comdex 2003 keynote. He also showed off a Fossil SPOT Watch and reconfirmed the avialability for Q1 2004. For more details refer to Bill Gates' Keynote Transcript.

Update 11/20/03:
If you are looking for the video, you will not find it. In a brief note at ZDNet, on a page where they sell Comdex KeyNote Vidoes, it states that Microsoft did not release the Matrix Spoof to the press. So only if somebody was filming it off the screen, or somebody inside Microsoft leaks it, the microsoft matrix video will not show up on the net. If you happen to find it though drop us an email please.

Update 12/05/03:
Just got a tip that Only4Gurus.com has the first half of the Microsoft Matrix Spoof Video as a 5MB download. It is filmed with a Digital Video Camera by an attendee. I read somewhere the Microsoft is asking sites to remove Videos of the Matrix Spoof, as they are not allowing Digital Video Cameras at the KeyNote. So guess the movie will soon be gone. It is sad, because its really good and funny!
