There is something about making the big announcement at COMDEX, and Dell proved it wasn't immune Monday as it unveiled a new 30" LCD TV with plans for a second.
The is already available for purchase at $3,299, and the Dell W2300 23" LCD TV will be available later this year. Both televisions are high definition (HDTV) ready and include analog and digital inputs for connecting to a computer, integrated television tuners, S-video, component and composite video, and audio inputs.
"The flat, thin design makes these two new LCD TVs ideal for table top or wall-mounted set-up, particularly in small spaces," said Tim Mattox, vice president of client product marketing for Dell.
The W3000 supports Picture-in-Picture (PIP), Picture-out-Picture (POP), and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) for viewing video and/or PC inputs at the same time. The W2300 supports PIP for viewing PC and video inputs at the same time.
