Kyocera announced (raw translation) today in Japan a new version of the SL300R 3MP Digital Camera with Carl Zeiss Optics and RTune photo optimization.
The Contax SL300R features the Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar T Lens (5.8-17.4mm F2.8-4.7).
The Kyocera SL300R Camera is only 16mm thick as the original FineCam SL300R. Like the Sony DSC-U50 it features a swivel lens. Both the Finecam SL300R and the Contax SL300R feature an amazing 0.07 seconds shutter time. More technical details in translated press-release
The Kyocera Contax SL300R T will start shipping next week in Japan.
The original Kyocera Finecam SL300R is currently on sale at Amazon.com for $369.89
