Japanese Design Firm Leading Edge Design presents a prototype of a new transportation concept.
The Hallucigenia 01 is a working scaled down (1/5 scale) vehicle prototype. The key thing are the eight independent wheels.
The wheels are able to rotate indepently and also have a controlled supension. The vehicle can go up slopes with keeping the car leveled. Also it can drive through a slalom without changing the direction of the body.
