Japan's NEC introduces (raw translation) a new line of Notebooks with 3D display capability and SoundVu Sound.
The new NEC models are the VALUESTAR T VT900/8D (desktop PC), LaVie S LS900/8E and LaVie RX LR700/8E.
As the Sharp Mebius PC-RD3D Notebook, we reported about in September, the NEC 3D Displays do not need any other devices like special glasses to achieve a solid 3D effect.
NEC is bundling a 3D enabled FANTASY XI to the systems to show-case the 3D capability.
The new line support NEC's SoundVu technology that uses the display as Speaker. We reported about SoundVu last March.
More Details in translated NEC Press-Release.
The new 3D and SoundVu enabled NEC line is available on January 29th in Japan.
