The next generation of iPhone may be launching as early as June 21. MobileCrunch reports that AT&T has just sent out an announcement rolling back eligibility for the iPhone upgrade. Readers report seeing their eligibility dates switch to 6/21.

While this isn't hard confirmation of the launch date, it has a pretty obvious message. AT&T hasn't been giving these eligibility upgrades to everyone, so it is possible they are just bringing them out for long-time iPhone owners. June 21 doesn't jive well with Apple's tradition of Friday launches, but we will see.

Apple has the Yerba Buena Arts center booked for June 22. Even if the 21st doesn't end up being the exact launch date, we can be pretty secure in the fact that the new iPhone will launch at some point in late June.
