After very brisk sales during the Christmas season the Sony PSX sales lost steam in Japan.
The Nikkei Weekly mentions the unimpressive ad campaign as one of the major reason for the slow sales in an article released today.
In terms of the DVD Recorder functionality the Sony PSX competes with the Matsushita DIGA Series for the market lead.
Sony will launch another campaign in Spring. The company also will send out a software update to enable most of the features that were cut in november beginning of february.
