Two weeks ago we reported that Acer plans to unveil new internet devices end of May.
Now VentureBeat reports that their sources claim that Acer will actually launch devices running Google Chrome OS.
Google announced the Chrome OS last year and there is no official release date for Google's Open Source operating system. I actually would be surprised if Google has finished the Chrome OS yet.
More likely would be that Acer releases Android powered tablets and netbooks.
Update:
Acer officially states that they are not working on Google Chrome OS devices.
