NTT DoCoMo launches first model of 3G FOMA 900i Series.
The F900i will be released February 6th in Japan.
The 900i series, the most advanced series of 3G FOMA i-mode® mobile phones ever to be released, features a Macromedia® Flash™-equipped browser, HTML e-mail and avatar-capable videophone. The Phone also features a sweep-type fingerprint sensor for secure access to the phone and stored data. The CCD camera sports 1.28 mega-pixel effective resolution and 1.23 mega-pixel recorded resolution. It takes SXGA (960 x 1,280 pixel) photos and comes with 16-power (8-step) zoom. The 3G Phone connects to a PC via optional USB cable to synchronize schedulers and phone books.
The phone features either a slot for Memory Stick Duo™ or miniSD™ memory cards, depending on the model. Price not set yet.
