At a $10,000 price point the new Toshiba Facepass VU-R710A is surprisingly affordable for companies to introduce face recognition system for access control.
The Facepass system unlocks a building door only when the picture of an employee matches a pre-registered digital color image of the person. The product, which can store data for 1,000 employees and 60,000 logs. Available on April 1st.
