Buy iMac from Amazon Prime Day, Amazon Cyber Monday and Black Friday Now

Time flies. Apple introduced the 27-inch iMac with Core i7 and Core i5 CPUs back in October 2009.
Seven month later and potential iMac customers are already hesitant to buy an iMac now as an updated iMac could be released before the end of summer.

I was close to buying a new 27-inch iMac last fall, but I did not have time to deal with a new system. Then came the reports of the screen issues and damaged packages. Now I am again considering switching to Apple, but I really would like an iMac with SSD. My current Windows XP system is running on SSD and there is no way to go back to HDD for me.

It is time that Apple offers an SSD option for the iMac. To upgrade an iMac myself with an SSD (discussion) is not an option for me. One of the reasons to switch to Apple is to finally stop fooling around with hardware components.

So my biggest wish for the iMac 2010 is an SSD option and no bugs.
New iMac with SSD is here now
