The Toshiba Gigabeat G21 (MEG201) will still be the thinnest 20GB MP3 Player as the G20 was. The G21 has a couple of interesting improvements over the G20, which we reviewed.

The G21 features now 28 equalizer settings compared to 4 on the G20. The new Toshiba Audio Application Ver. 3.0 software features a automatic folder synchronization between player and PC.
Additionally the MEG201WL is LAN addressable, meaning it can be just plugged into the network without connecting it to a PC directly and more than one PC can access the player's hard-drive using it as a 20GB shared drive.
The Toshiba G21 comes in Cosmo Black and Silver. The price in Japan will be around 47,000yen.

The G20 never made it officially on the US market, it is only available through japanese stores that ship internationally like We had the pleasure to review the Gigabeat G20. We liked the G20 a lot. Lets see if Toshiba will market the G21 internationally.
