Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced a deal with Digimask to create developer software on the Playstation 2 (and PS3) for 3D facial mapping. Putting yourself in the game is the obvious application, but we can see even more exciting potential: virtual avatars. Be the next "PS3 Celebrity" by creating your own persona and uploading to the Net via your PS3. Who wouldn't want to be the next "Max Headroom?"
