Matsushita under its Panasonic Label announced a bookshelf stereo that plays MDs, CDs and new Music DVDs.
The Panasonic SC-PM900DVD reproduces sounds up to 100khz. The new Music DVDs (DVD-Audio) that seems to start being more and more available have sampling rate up to 192khz compared to 44.1khz on Music CDs, which allows for a extrem realistic and multi-channel sound reproduction.
This versatile 56W Book-Shelf Stereo has a 5 CD/DVD changer and also an Mini-disc Player.
Supposed to hit the Japanese Market Mid May.
