Sandisk is planning to offer a wi-fi and storage combination SD-Card.
Why is that a necessary product? Well most of the Gadgets on the market today only have one SD-Card slot. By having storage and WLAN feature on one card users can go online with their PDA and still use the data stored on their SD-Card.
Brighthand.com writes that Sandisk is waiting for Microsoft to put out an update to Windows Mobile 2003 to support the dual-function SD-Card. SanDisk's Wi-Fi SDIO card with 256 MB of memory will have a suggested retail price of about $150.
