The World of High-End Notebooks like Liebermann

Liebermann Studio
We had recently published a story about the Liebermann High-End Computers and Computers that we received from an anonymous writer. Based on that story we got some interesting insight into the World of High-End Notebooks and Computers from I4U Reader Mihnea Chis, who is in, what I would call, the hard-core hardware community.
Liebermann is actually OEMing Sager Notebooks and brands and markets them as Liebermann. Sager in turn OEMs Notebooks from Clevo.  Alone this situation keeps discussion threads growing with people arguing if this is good or bad or if it does not matter. Well in my mind it does not matter. Marketing and branding products manufactured by others extremely common in many industries.
Besides Liebermann, companies like Eurocom, Sager, Alienware and Voodoo try to sell and market high-end cutting edge computer systems either to gamers or professionals in computer graphics industries. Also Dell and HP are actually getting into this market now.
Liebermann for sure has a bold way to go about marketing their products and built up a great story. Supporting it with futuristic products like the panorama monitor system Grand Canyon. So its easy to get under fire especially from the hard-core Hardware community, which is as far as I see it not even the customer target group for Liebermann.

Take for instance Mihnea Chis from Romania. He builds customs computers for people in the music
industry like producers and song writers. He is deep into the topic of high-end computer systems and components.
He expresses that some of the statements on the Liebermann site are exaggerated or not accurate. He is not alone there are several discussions going on (e.g.: notebookforums.com) arguing back and forth about the specifications of Liebermann systems and if those specs are possible or if such a product even exists (e.g. PuRam - solid state drive). There is also lots of conspiracy theories mixed into those discussions. Although most of the discussions and blogs dedicated to the Liebermann topic agree now though that the company is real.
As always if you buy something new on the net, do your research, but also take discussions you find on the web with a grain of salt.
Some example reviews of High-End Notebooks:

Sager NP4780 - ZDNet
Sager 8790 - PCTorque
