Adwalker Solution
Irish Company Adwalker selects Xybernaut Wearable Computers to enable Brand Advertisement and Point of Sale functions on the go.
The system works by equipping Adwalker marketing representatives with a wearable computer configured with wireless network connectivity, a flat panel display which is touch-screen enabled and a compact body pack incorporating a daylight viewable LCD screen, high output batteries and a direct thermal printer. This allows Adwalker to provide interactive games and competitions, research and data mining, ticketing, point-of-sale, digital coupons and product demonstrations.
Adwalker uses the Xybernaut MA V system.
At the Nextfest we encountered two models wearing a brand advertisement for movies. This solution by Brandmarketers is simpler and just can display video on the LCD screen integrated in the T-Shirt. It is a much more lightweight solution compared to the Adwalker solution.
More details in Xybernaut Press-Release. See also Xybernaut MA V product page.
