The Apple iPhone 4 has been available for pre-order since Tuesday. An early hands-on of new upcoming Android phone from Motorola also appeared ahead of their official launch. Coincident? It is very possible that Verizon and Motorola intentionally placed the new Droid 2 and Droid X for exposure this week.
As reported the Droid X got hands-on coverage on Engadget and the Droid 2 got a user hands-on treatment published on Gizmodo.
It iis not quite clear whether or not this possible guerilla marketing is paying off for the Android camp. The iPhone 4 pre-order madness was even overshadowing the E3 2010 this week.
