So Sony says 2005 will be the big year for new Consoles. The PSP is still slated for this Christmas to appear on the Japanese market. In the USA the PSP is coming spring 2005.
The next generation Playstation, dubbed Playstation 3 will be "shown" at the E3 2005.
Sony's game-business head Ken Kutaragi said Sony planned to unveil a playable version of the new console at next year's E3, the annual video-game trade show scheduled to take place from May 18 to 20 in Los Angeles. More details see ZDNet and Gearlive.
