New iPod on Sale at Apple Store

As we reported over the weekend the new version of the Apple iPod got launched today. The 20GB model sells for $299 and the 40GB version for $399.

The major changes are the click-wheel that got introduced with the ipod mini, the extended battery life and the lower price point.

Will be interesting to see if the prices of the previous iPod models fall. The changes are not that dramatic so a former model would still be a good choice.
