The N9 will be the point of Nokia's 2010 smartphone spearhead. The company already promised that all future N-series phones would run off of the MeeGo OS. The N9 was caught on video last week running Symbian, but that was believed to be an early prototype. TechnoBuffalo managed to get their hands on an N9 and can confirm that it has a 4" capacitive multi-touch display.
Altogether, that puts the new phone's rumored specs at; 640 x 360 4" capacitive nHD display. Front-facing camera with LED flash, rear 8 MP shooter with dual LED flash, HDMI out, WiFi and Bluetooth. What a beast!
The N9 still has a bit to go before it can be declared a true competitor for the iPhone 4 and the upcoming pack of next-gen Android smartphones. We'll just have to wait and see what else Nokia has hiding in there.
