Sony introduces new member of their high-end Qualia product series. The Sony Qualia 005 is the world's first LED Flat-screen TV.
The LEDs will be used as backlight allowing for a wider range of colors than LCDs.
The new Qaulia 005 TV will come in 40 and 46 inch. The 46 inch Qualia 005 will sell for about $10,000.
The new Qualia TVs will be launched globally later this year and into 2005.
