Japanese Tanita Corp. will introduce a pedometer that transmits data via mobile phone to a central online service.
The i-stepwalk pedometer features a 3D sensor to count the wearers steps. The user can then later analyze the data in different ways on a web site. The service is powered by NTT DoCoMo's i-mode.
