MPIO calls the FG 100 the “BooM”. The new portable music player features a classic Boom Box design.
The FG 100 uses a 2 color OLED Display and a red ring is lighting up when the music is playing.
It supports USB 2.0 and a cool 43 hours playing time with just one AA battery. Besides that it features a 6 band equalizer, FM, and direct encoding.
The specification page says it has a Optical In. That is a first for a portable music player to feature a optical In plug.
The MPIO FG 100 measures 31(W) x 82(H) x 28.5(D)mm and weighs 40.5g.
The FG 100 should be available this month, as well as the MPIO FL 300 pendant music player we reported recently.
More details on the MPIO product page. (News Tip: Azizi M.)
