Sony announces a new CLIE PDA in Japan dubbed Sony CLIE PEG-VZ90.
Sony stopped selling CLIE PDAs outside of Japan a couple of months ago. Sony continues to develop new CLIE PDAs. The CLIE PEG-VZ90 looks more like a Portable Video Player than a traditional PDA.
Sony praises in the press-release the OLED display of the CLIE VZ90. Besides a Memorystick slot the new Clie also has a CF-Card slot. Possible a first for Sony.
The VZ90 has software bundled to play Movies, display photos and of course play Music.
30fps is possible for MP4 movie playback on the new sony gadget.
The VZ90 runs Palm OS 5.2.1 on the Sony Handheld Engine CPU with 123MHz.

The OLED screen has 480×320 dot and features 65,536 colors. The PDA measures 109×87×23mm and weighs 270g. The Sony CLIE PEG-VZ90 goes on Sale September 25th in Japan.
