Japanese Vstone offers a professional programmable Robot Kit called Robovie-M.
The Vstone robot kit also participated successfully in the Robo One Robot Fight event.
The Robovie-M is 290mm tall and weighs 1.9kg.
The autonomous robot has of course the CPU on board. It is moved by 20 servo motors. There are several videos of the Robovie-M on the Vstone product page. The moves are quite impressive.
The Vstone Robovie-M costs around $4,500. The Kondo KHR-1 Robot kit we reported about is then with $1,645.00 a real bargain. The cheap option is still the Robosapien.
