Sanyo will show a CDMA 2000 1X EV-DO mobile phone with digital TV Tuner at the CEATEC 2004 show in Japan.
The digital tuner phone will only be a prototype. It is designed to receive digital terrestrial broadcasting. It can display Video in QVGA (320×240) with 15 fps. The phone uses H.264/MPEG-4 AVC compression. The mobile measures 102 (H) × 50 (W) × 28 (D) mm and weighs 150g.
