Sharp announces a AV Center PC System with 26" LCD Monitor and DVD Recorder.
The Sharp PC-TX26GS and TX26G is more a consumer electronics system than a PC. It features of course a built-in TV Tuner. The DVD Recorder has a 250GB Hard-drive. The 26" LCD TV/Monitor has a maximum resolution of 1,366×768 dots. The Sharp system runs on Intel Celeron Processor with 512MB RAM. Sharp plans to produce 5000 systems, which go on sale in December in Japan.
