Samsung officially announces the new 1.3 mega-pixel camera slider phone D500 in Europe.

The Samsung SGH-D500 integrates a soft-touch slide-up design, an internal antenna, 80MB storage capacity, a 1.3-megapixel camera with flash, video recording and messaging, Bluetooth, email, syncML connectivity, 64 polyphonic ring tones, an enhanced voice clarity and speakerphone, a 1.9-inch 262,144-pixel TFT-LCD screen and an MP3 music player.
