After Rio Audio (Rio Carbon) now Creative Labs goes after the Apple iPod mini with the Creative Zen Micro 5GB MP3 Player.
The Creative Zen Micro is not officially announced, but Gizmodo got a scan of a brochure showing the Zen Micro in different colors (10 colors available) and listing the core specifications. Looks real.
The Creative Zen Micro features as the Rio Carbon a 5GB HDD, one Gigabyte more than the iPod Mini. The Zen Micro measures 3.3"x2"x0.7". The iPod mini measures 3.6"x2.0"x0.5". So basically they have the same size.
The Battery life is 12 hours. Other features: FM Tuner, Voice Recorder and Touch Pad. More details on Gizmodo.
