Apple iPod News: New Market Data and Color Display Rumor

The Apple iPod has taken an extreme 82% of the US retail digital music player market in August based on US research firm NPD. Other Mp3 player manufacturer really have a problem here. More details on The Register.

The rumors about an upcoming iPod with color display, photo viewer and 60GB hard-drive got so intense that Reuters published a story on it. Reuters asked Apple to comment, but of course they declined.
