Sony announces the 1GB Sony NW-99 MP3 Player and the NW-95 in the UK.
We already reported about the 512MB Sony NW-E95 back in July. The Sony NW-99 is supporting MP3 and Atrac music files. The NW-99 has a list price of 240 Euros. The NW-95 lists with 200 Euros.
The only winning point against iPod minis or other MP3 Players is the 70 hour battery life. That is on average 3x times that of other mp3 players. The new Sony MP3 Players weigh 40g and are 1 cm thick with width length not bigger than a credit card. More details in Reuters UK story.
Japanese Gadget Exporter AudioCubes sells the Sony NW-E95 for $449.
