Today we may finally know what T-Mobile's Project Emerald will pack. A phone using the moniker HTC Glacier was spotted on the GLBenchmark website by AlienBabelTech. By looking at its CPU performance score, they've been able to estimate its total speed at either 1.2 or 1.5 GHz, dual core.
Based on other phones tested by the same account, they believe the Glacier to be a T-Mobile device. Project Emerald has long been rumored to be T-Mo's replacement for the Sidekick, and we've heard for a while that it is expected to pack a dual-core processor. This is pretty far from hard confirmation, but it is the most promising bit of Emerald news we've heard in quite a while.
