Yahoo! Consumer Electronics officially Launched

One Diamond Electronics, Inc. a international marketing, manufacturing and distributing company, today announced the launch of five new consumer electronics products under the Yahoo! brand in the United States.

We reported about Yahoo! branded Consumer Electronics rumor back in September. Now an official press-release went out and a site called gear.yahoo.com/electronics launched offering Yahoo! DVD players and Home Theater systems.

Through an agreement with Yahoo! to license the Yahoo! name, Diamond Electronics will manufacture, distribute and market these Yahoo!-branded products in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

The available Yahoo! products are YHT-630 and YHT-650 home theater systems, YDP-305 DVD Player, YDP-700 and the YDP-701 DVD Players.
