Sony VGF-AP1 MP3 Firmware Update available
 
 

The Firmware update that enables MP3 playback on the Sony VAIO Pocket VGF-AP1 (20GB) and VGF-AP1L (40GB) was due mid of December as we reported. Now the Firmware update is availabe on Sony's VAIO Link site. (First seen on DAPReview).

Besides MP3 support the firmware update is also fixing some other issues like gapless playback. So now Sony has two Hard-drive MP3 Players. The Vaio Pocket and the Sony NW-HD3.
