iPod accessory company MacAlly offers the PODWAVE - stylish portable stereo speakers for Apple iPods.
The PODWAVE Works with iPod, iPod Mini or any audio players with a 3.5mm jack. Although I think they only look good on iPods. It uses a single AA battery (8 hour playtime). The compact portable speakers measure 3.3" (L) x 1" (W) x 1" (H).
