Well, it's now 2005, which means many a gamer is looking forward to the release of Microsoft's Xbox 2 later this year. While I would take the news with a grain of salt, former G4TechTV personality Alex Albrecht caught up with a Microsoft employee who gave him the skinny on the new console. The major news is that the Xbox 2 will include a flash-based drive rather than the standard hard drive found in the current model. Also, as expected, the Xbox 2 will more than likely be introduced to the world at this years Electronics Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas.
