Sony introduces a new wonder box in its high end Qualia line. The Qualia 001
Q001-CB01 (Creation Box) converts lower resolution video sources into HD image
resolution. Advanced signal processors convert video with a resolution of 720 x
480 dots to 1,920 x 1,080 dots. Not sure how great the resulting image will be,
but at the a price of 500,000 yen (~$5,000) it should do wonders. The Qualia 001
also supports zooming into video images with up to 9x.
